Dan Wong For MLA of YellowKnife North
On November 4th and 5th, 2015, Dan Wong and other Yellowknife MLA candidates took part in Dene Nahjo’s election forum to speak to indigenous issues in and around Yellowknife and the NWT. The format consisted of pre-determined questions, drawn at random, followed by time for questions asked from the floor and over social media. Questions were drafted by Dene Nahjo, as well as submitted by various individuals and organizations across the territory, and dealt with the following themes: education, land claims, water, protected areas, governance, arts and culture, women, corrections, the economy, food security, child and family services, addictions, housing and homelessness, language and employment.
